I'll admit it – I never thought I would become a fan of podcasts. Up until last year's obsession with Serial, I thought that podcasts were reserved to monotone conversation on dull topics. Boy, was I wrong!
After listening to a full season of Serial (c'mon - do we think Adnan is guilty or not?), a lightbulb went off in my head to search for podcasts regarding blogging, career and lifestyle. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a wealth of amazing podcasts in one afternoon, some of which are daily listens for me.

The Lively Show | iTunes
My hands-down favorite podcast is The Lively Show, hosted by Jess Lively. Outside of her Life With Intention Online courses, Jess produces meaningful and friendly podcast episodes that highlight creative entrepreneurs, bloggers, writers and more. After listening to The Lively Show for some time now, Jess feels like an old friend! If you don't know where to start, check out one of my favorite podcast episodes with Hilary Rushford.
Design Matters | iTunes
Since a large amount of my full-time work incorporates graphic design, I'm always eager to learn more about design techniques and to hear creative insights from industry leaders. Design Matters is hosted by Debbie Millman and features knowledge-packed episodes that touch on every type of design. I was elated to stumble upon an episode that chats with Isaac Mizrahi, my fashion hero.
This Girl Means Business | iTunes
Carrie Green is the host of weekly podcast This Girl Means Business and, wow, does this lady know her stuff! Whether you work in a creative marketing role or a savvy business analyst role, Carrie's great career advice seamlessly applies to all industries. Her episode on 5 Things to Try When You're Struggling to Reach Your Goal is pure inspirational gold.
Being Boss | iTunes
Being Boss is the most recent podcast that I've happened upon, and it's safe to say that hosts Emily Thompson and Kathleen Shannon are an absolute joy! Both women have tons of experience and commentary to share on freelancing, starting your own business, knowing when to take the leap into self-employment and much more. What I love most about this podcast? The ladies aren't afraid to let loose and be themselves, which is absolutely great.
