Editor's Note: Welcome to That Working Girl 2.0!

Welcome back, Working Girls! Oh, how the latter part of 2014 was a whirlwind. I moved across the country to Denver. I switched jobs. I landed my first full-time gig in social media and design. I moved into a new apartment. I toyed with two blogs at once. Needless to say 2014 was a year of change and growth like never before. But something got lost in the mix.

In the midst of my planning and plotting and working, That Working Girl got pushed to the back burner. I started working on another blog project, and even played with the idea of shuttering this site for good, thinking that I had outgrown the ability to dole out authentic and meaningful commentary regarding PR, social and finding purpose in your career. I had missteps in my career in 2014, just as I had successes. I thought that in order to share valuable content with you all, that I had to be the perfect example of an employee. Boy, was I wrong.

Your emails, kind words and encouraging messages regarding how much this site has helped you in your own career journey completely refueled me to take TWG in a fresh, new direction for 2014. This site was launched in 2012 when I was still in college. Nearly three years later, I realized that I've grown up – and TWG should follow suit.

Look forward to more personal updates regarding my journey in social media on the site – I've realized that a fully flourishing career intertwines life and work seamlessly, and milestones should be shared. A new job board component will also be added to the site, which will be updated bi-weekly. Of course, it wouldn't be TWG without our signature career Q&As, wonderful advice pieces, and contributed content, which will remain staples of the site. Additionally, stay tuned for new resume design and branding services to be offered from TWG, to help you make the most impact with your personal brand and experience when meeting with employers.

I look forward to connecting with you all, readers brand new and old alike!
