Life as of Late: Instagram-style

HeaderDIY.jpgWow, how time flies! I can't believe that March is already here. The last month was full of a lot of great things: accomplishments at work and with That Working Girl, great times with friends, adventures around Atlanta, and more. Take a peek at what I've been up to for the last 30-or-so days. Oh, and the NYC outline on my wall? You can thank washi tape for that. Amazing!

Screen Shot 2014-02-28 at 7.27.21 PM I love celebrating Friday mornings with a much-needed Caribou Coffee iced coffee. Because I'm on a budget, I only allow myself to go out for coffee once a week. Honestly, it hasn't been that bad! My pour-over coffee system at home has definitely served me well.

Screen Shot 2014-02-28 at 7.27.09 PM Thanks to Macy's I now cannot get enough of printed pants. Because last week's temperatures were in the spring range (70 degrees in February, what?!), I was able to break these bad boys out.

Screen Shot 2014-02-28 at 7.27.32 PM Last weekend I had a great time ringing in Charlsie's birthday along with Christine in Atlanta! I love having fellow media friends that understand the woes of deadlines and crazy schedules – Charlsie is a marketing and social media manager and Christine is a magazine editor – not to mention, they're two of the most hilarious women you'll probably ever meet. Follow them on Twitter!

Screen Shot 2014-02-28 at 7.27.43 PM Oh, D.B.A. Barbecue, how I love thee. This week my friends at Caren West PR invited me to a media preview of D.B.A.'s new barbecue sauce-making class, and it was an absolute blast. I may or may not have intentionally apartment hunted near my favorite barbecue haunt; I'm so lucky to live just down the street. On the last Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m., D.B.A. will play host to more sauce-making classes for only $35 a person. Hello, fun date night! Stay tuned to their Facebook for more info.
